The Romano Bianchi company, fonde in 1959, has always specialized in the traditional art of alabaster carving including the excavation of the stone, manufacture, directsale, marketing and export.
The complete productive cycle and the quarrying of the stone is carried out in Volterra.
Over the last ten years the company has been distinguished for its production of lighting for interiors i,e, lamp shades, table lamps and sconces, ornamental vases, bowls, columns and plates produced on the lathe and completed by hand.
Offering experience, knowledge and technical equipment, the company has recently launched into the organization of a series of sculpture and intarsia workshops open to Italian and international artists who wish to learn or improve their skills in the art of alabaster carving.
